Realising that COVID19 Vaccination for the age group of 18 to 44 through official sources may get delayed, KHCAA has decided to purchase vaccine from available sources so that the risk of the pandemic faced by our members can be reduced and return of normalcy in the functioning of the Courts can be achieved earlier. Hon’ble Chief Justice and other Judges have agreed to make the necessary arrangements in the High Court premises itself if there is no hitch otherwise.

The arrangement of administrating vaccine will be in co-ordination with the High Court Administration for Advocates, Staff members and Advocate Clerks. The Hon’ble Chief Justice has taken this decision pursuant to our request for arranging Vaccination Drive as done for 45-60 age group which was organized earlier.

We had requested for Vaccinations of the 2nd doze for those who had been administered the 1st doze of Vaccine on 8th and 9th of April 2021 also. As the Vaccine given then was ‘Covishield’, we have been told that the 2nd doze can be administered only from July 1st week onwards and arrangements for the same will be done by the High Court Administration itself.
For the purchase of Vaccine for 18 to 44 age group, we require generous contribution of our members. We have to make provision for Advocate Clerks also as in the present condition we cannot expect them to share the financial liability. Please send your contribution before 3.6.2021. Those members requiring Vaccination through the above arrangement are required to give their details to KHCAA in the manner given below. The last date for giving your request is 2.6.2021 as Vaccine can be booked only after knowing the total requirement.
